Christmas Weekend 2023 in Niagara on the Lake
As a Christmas present to ourselves, we treated each other to an overnight stay at the Pillar and Post hotel, in charming Niagara on the Lake. Before arriving, we stopped for a little shopping excursion at the Outlet Collection mall, and then lunch at our favorite spot, the Watering Can.
There was no snow to be seen, but the atmosphere in Niagara on the Lake was festive, nonetheless.
Night Time at the Gardens of the Pillar and the Post
Thanks to the IBIS in my OM5, I handheld every shot at the gardens, including the long exposure shots in the daytime!
The Pillar and Post knows how to make the lobby feel like Christmas.
The Live ND mode, combined with the IBIS in my OM5 sure comes in handy. These images were all captured handheld at a 1/2 second or longer.
